Effectively remove the contraries from the stock. If the whole pulping system are not specifically designed to cope with this waste material. The light contraries, such as polystyrene, plastic can block the pulper screen plate. Heavy contraries cause damage. Similarly, inadequate design may result in frequent shut-downs of the pulping plant for cleaning.
The installation of a Fiber Separator, which can also be regarded as a secondary pulper and a high consistency screen, solves the problem by relieving the load on the pulper. The Fiber Separator removes light and heavy contraries still present in the stock. It also breaks down further the remaining flakes.
